Day 1 Arrival to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport, transfer to the hotel in Paratunka - double rooms, natural thermal water swimming pool, rest after long flight, acclimatization.

Day 2 Optional helicopter excursion to the Valley of the Geysers.

The Valley of the Geysers in Kamchatka is one of the largest geyser areas in the world and the only one in Eurasia. It is situated in the heart of the Kronotskiy Preserve. Geysers are definitely nature miracles, because there are only four large fields sheltering dozens of natural fountains, staggering by their striking beauty and unique periodicity of work!

Not far from the Valley there’s the caldera of the ancient Uzon volcano, that attracts tourists from all over the world. The caldera of the Uzon volcano is a volcanic depression, which was formed in the result of the volcano top collapse.

Approximate duration of the excursion is 6-7 hours. More about this excursion here.

Other optional excursions are available:

1) Helicopter excurison to Kuril Lake (bear watching)

2) Excurision to Kaynyran ethnic village

Day 3 Treking to the active crater of Mutnovsky volcano, 3-5 hours driving and then 10 kilometers trekking there and back, 6-7 hours. Inside the crater we can see its steep walls with glacier sliding down to hot boiling fumaroles and small geysers. On the way back we can see wonderfull 80-meters waterfall in Opasny (means "dangerous") canyon.

Day 4 Transfer to Mount Vachkazhets, trekking to the mountain cirque, to the lake and to waterfall. Vachkazhets and its surroundings are among the most beautiful spots in Kamchatka, telling a story stretching back to ancient times when Vachkazhets was a one-cone volcano before exploding and dividing into three parts: as they stand today. Guests will be able to take in the scenic surrounds and appreciate the serene quiet at a picnic lunch during the trek.
Day 5 Sea cruise to Starichkov island (5-16 hours). We leave Petropavlovsk sea port early in the morning to observe still sleeping ocean nature, ocean animals and birds. Everybody can try fishing. The shore line here is very spectacular with many nice bays and rocks. On board we have sea food lunch, fish soup and different snacks.

Day 6 Today you will transfer to the Bystraya river for an afternoon of ‘catch-and-release’ fishing at one of Kamchatka’s most famous angling spots. The second longest river in Kamchatka, the Bystraya flows along the Sredinny Ridge and is inhabited with fish such as the Pacific salmon, east Siberian char, grayling and Rainbow trout. Experienced guides and inflatable rafts can be arranged should you require them during the afternoon. In the late afternoon, tour groups will transfer to the Malkinskiye hot thermal springs for a relaxing dip and rest in Kamchatka’s open air before returning to the hotel.
Day 7 Ascending the crater of active Avacha volcano, 2751 meters heigh
Day 8 Fish market and gifts shop, then the airport. Goodbye, Kamchatka!
